COVID-19; Rwanda Begins Immunization Of Healthcare Workers

On Sunday, the Rwanda health authorities have disclosed that it has started immunizing its healthcare workers against Covid-19.

An official in the ministry stated that immunization with the Pfizer vaccine started last week in a few hospitals in the capital, Kigali.

The ministry also revealed in a tweet that the vaccines were acquired through international partnerships in limited quantities.

Officials in Rwanda said there will be a wider rollout this month with supplies expected from the Covax initiative and African Union.
