13 Persons Die In Kwara State Accidents

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has disclosed that a total of 13 persons has lost their lives in two separate accidents on Thursday on the Oloru-Bode Saadu Road, Kwara State.  

The FRSC Sector Commander in Kwara, Jonathan Owoade, confirmed the casualty figure, saying that crashes resulted from   drivers’ loss of concentration, speeding, and tyre burst.

Owoade said the first crash involving a bus and a truck occurred at about 4.00am at Aiyekale community.

“Out of 19 passengers, 11 persons died on the spot; one died in the hospital while seven sustained injures,” he said.

While two persons died in the second crash.
