It has been confirmed that five people were killed in the triple explosions that occurred in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, on Thursday.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mohammed Ndatsu, confirmed the attack and the casualty figure to journalists.
It was also gathered that many people sustained injuries from the incident
The incident was said to have occurred around Custom area, along Tashan Bama Road at about 5:47pm.
It hasn’t been confirmed if the Boko Haram insurgents are behind the attacks, which happened 24 hours after the convoy of Babagana Zulum, governor of the state, was attacked in Kukawa Local Government Area of the state.
