More than 100 Ethiopian migrant workers have been spotted dumped outside their embassy in the capital in recent days.

Due to Lebanon’s current economic collapse heightened by the coronavirus pandemic, where the country’s currency has lost 70% of its value in the past six months, domestic workers have been dumped outside a Beirut embassy as a result.

Many of the country’s middle class have claimed that they can no longer afford to pay their domestic maids.
