COVID-19; Kenyan President Staffs Tests Positive

A statement from the Presidency has disclosed that four staff members working in the office of Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta have tested positive for coronavirus. 

All four were said to have been referred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The statement added that the president and his family are safe and free from Covid-19.  

All staff, including the president and his family, are said to be tested on a regular basis.

Kenya currently has over 3,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus, and more than 80 recorded deaths.
