Shortly after inspecting ongoing works at the Infectious Diseases Control and Diagnostic Centre, Lafia on Tuesday, Governor Abdullahi Sule disclosed while talking with journalists that 19 coronavirus patients in Nasarawa have been discharged after recovering and testing negative twice to the virus.
Adding that the state now has 12 active cases and one death after the latest discharge.
The governor expressed satisfaction despite the establishment of several isolation centres across the state, most of them don’t have patients.
We have been very lucky, we had a total of 32 cases. As at this morning, we have had one death and 19 that have already been discharged. They have turned negative again and they have been discharged. Of the 32 cases, we only have 12 active cases,” he stated.
