Mauritania has recorded no new case of coronavirus, two days after the last patient tested negative.
It was disclosed that, in the last two days, tests were being conducted but none had turned out positive.
It had earlier recorded seven cases of the virus whereby six patients recovered and one died.
Although, the ministry stated that all the six recovered patients will remain in isolation for 14 days to rule out any chances of infection.
On Saturday, the ministry of health praised God for what it termed as the absence of the virus in the country.
