The supreme Court under Justice Tanko has been alleged of being heavily compromised by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus during a media briefing said the Supreme Court has lost it’s credibility.

In his reaction to Tuesday’s judgement by the Supreme Court which nullified the victory of Emeka Ihedioha in March 9 2019 governorship election in Imo state. Secondus described the Supreme Court’s verdict as a miscarriage of Justice at a press briefing on Thursday.

He said ” the result from the polling unit 388 were rightfully rejected by the Tribunal and court of appeal. The court is wrong to have award the 388 polling unit votes to Uzodinma.”

He also added that the party had know that the APC would use the Supreme Court to capture states such as ; Imo, Sokoto, Bauchi, Adamawa, and Benue which were won by PDP.

He warned that any attempt of injustice in pending petition in Sokoto, Bauchi, Benue, Adamawa, Kano and Plateau will be firmly and vehemently resisted. PDP requested that Justice Tanko steps down as the Chief Justice Of Nigeria and the National Judicial Council because Nigerian has lost confidence in him and the supreme Court under his leadership.
