On Monday, November 18, a van carrying fifty-two migrants smashed through border barriers between Morocco and Spain to enter the Spanish enclave Ceuta.

Moreover, the van sped across the border and broke through a metal gate on Monday morning.

However, the police later detained the sub-Saharan migrants.

Whereas, in recent times, migrants gathered in Morocco to scale the 6-meter (19.5 foot) wire fences that separate Ceuta from Morocco but rarely try to cross in vehicles.

In fact, migrants in Ceuta typically apply for asylum or wait for an opportunity to travel to mainland Spain.

Four of the migrants were injured and they are presently taking treatment from a Ceuta hospital.
