Four people were rescued by a fishing boat after their boat capsized off-shore of the bluff.

Moreover, the victims, three men, and a child were rescued on Tuesday morning, September 24.

Meanwhile, National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRL) Durban Station Commander, Jonathan Kellerman who confirmed the incident said a team was deployed after receiving a report of a capsized boat.

“ On arrival on the scene, we found the local fishing boat Mad Max had rescued three adults and a child from the water”.

However, Kellerman added that the command took the four victims to the NSRI station for medical assessment by the Paramedics.

Consequently, one out of the three men sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital by ambulance for further care.
