The Ministry of Education in Kenya has ordered the closure of over three hundred informal schools.

However, the new development is because of a school building collapsing in Nairobi last month, killing eight children.

Moreover, the official blamed the accident on poor construction and overcrowding.

Meanwhile, the closure of the school will affect approximately ten thousand children.

Consequently, the ministry ordered that the children be transferred to nearby public schools.
