On Sunday, October 20, a fatal accident took the lives of five people along the Ondo/Ore expressway.
Moreover, two people also sustained injuries.
However, the accident occurred at Awoyaya junction involving a private Sharon Volkswagen with registration number LAGOS KTU 706 BW car and a trailer.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ondo State, Rotimi Adeleye confirmed the incident.
Meanwhile, Adeleye said that there were eight occupants in the vehicle, five died and two others sustained injuries.
Surprisingly, a little boy also came out unhurt.
Furthermore, the accident is said to have been caused by over-speeding and poor visibility.
In essence, Adeleye urged drivers to always exercise caution and avoid over speeding, adding that people should avoid traveling in the night.
After all, bodies of the deceased were deposited at the morgue while the injured victims are receiving treatment at Ondo General Hospital.
In either case, the report has it that the driver of the trailer ran away with the trailer.
The police recovered the vehicle and took it to the Enuwa Division in Ondo.
