Durban: five killed, seven injured in horror crash

On Sunday, October 6, five people died including two children in a terrible accident in Durban.

However, the accident occurred on the N3 northbound, near Hammarsdale in Durban.

Furthermore, the Rescue Care Spokesman Garrith Jamieson confirmed the incident saying the Rescue Care and Net Care 911 paramedics arrived at the scene at about 11:30 am.

Moreover, the accident involved a single-vehicle carrying, twelve passengers.

People were strewn across the busy national highway while ambulances and paramedics were trying to rescue the victims.

Meanwhile, seven occupants also sustained injuries, ranging from minor to serious ones.

Injured victims were stabilized in the scene before being transported to Durban hospitals for further care.

Subsequently, the accident causes a lot of obstruction and only one lane of traffic was able to tickle past the scene.

It was not clear yet what led to the accident.

The police are still investigating what led to a horrible accident.
