At least seven people lost their lives in a flash flood that swept across the football field.
The incident occurred in Tizert, in the Taroudant region of Morocco on Wednesday, August 29.
Many people were gathered to watch a local soccer match in a Southern Moroccan village.
Due to a flash flood on Wednesday, A river nearby the field swelled up, pushing water onto the playing field.
Immediately spectators fought to escape the flood, some of them even climbing roofs.
Despite these efforts, seven people died, including a 17-year-old boy .
An elderly man was also injured in the accident.
Search operations are ongoing to find survivors or the bodies of the victims.
