On Tuesday, August 27, Uganda relaunched its National Airline after eighteen years, with a flight to Nairobi.
The Prime Minister, Ruhakana Rugunda said, first of all, the aircraft will fly to seven different destinations.
The destinations include Nairobi, Mogadishu, Juba, Dar es Salaam, Mombasa, Kilimanjaro, and Bujumbura.
The Ugandan government is making all efforts possible to ensure continuity of operation.
However, the relaunch will help the economy, and also boost tourism.
Although, the airline should have started operating officially since July, but was waiting to gain certification to prove its crew can fly safely to any part of the world.
The airline is working towards adding two more planes later this year. (
