Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is in lockdown following an accident involving two tankers.
Motorists and commuters spend hours in gridlock on Wednesday, August 4 when two tankers loaded with diesel fell and caused heavy traffic at Ibafo in Ogun.
Therefore, the traffic from the scene of the accident reached Kara Bridge, inward Berger in Lagos State at 2:00 pm.
Noting that, Berger Construction Company is presently reconstructing the road.
Moreover, many drivers left the main road for the sides to beat the gridlock, causing more problems on the road.
Some drivers, however, got out of their vehicles , complaining and walking down to see the accident.
The FRSC and other relevant agencies have removed one of the tankers and working on evacuating the second one.
Meanwhile, residents of Ibafo were seen scooping diesel at the scene.
