Nigeria’s biggest domestic carrier, Air peace wrote to the Federal government that they are ready to evacuate stranded Nigerians from South Africa.
The decision was due to the killings of Nigerians and other foreigners in South Africa.
In a letter written to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, the airline reveals its intention, it equally added that the situation in South Africa is unfortunate.
Meanwhile, the airline has volunteered to send an aircraft to South Africa from Friday, September 6 to evacuate Nigerians who wish to return home without any cost.
in addition, the airline advised Nigerians to inform their relatives in South Africa to take advantage of this laudable gesture.
However, Air peace has appealed to the Nigerian Embassy in South Africa and the South African government to transport stranded Nigeria to the Airport for Air Peace to convey them home.
