A stray bullet killed a boy in Kasarani, Nairobi.

A three-year-old boy was killed by a stray bullet in the Maaziwa area, Kasarani, Nairobi.

The boy was at home when the bullet struck, killing him on Sunday, September 8.

However, the police officers involved in the shooting claim they were shooting in the air to scare a mob that was chasing them.

The officer claimed they went to the area to arrest someone when a mob turned on them and started chasing them.

Police Boss in Nairobi, Philip Ndolo said an investigation is on-going to know what exactly happened.

Similarly, On Monday morning, a section of Multi-Media University students blocked Magadi Road.

The students were protesting for the killing of a fellow student in a hit and run incident.

Meanwhile, they said the police used teargas canister to disperse them from the busy road.

In like manner, the student accused some public service vehicle operators using the Ongata Rongai route, of driving recklessly.

The police promised to look into the matter and ensure justice.
