Two dead in light aircraft crash in South Africa

Paramedics, on Saturday, August 17 have said two people died after an aircraft crashed near Hartbeespoort Dam, west Akasia in the North West of South Africa.

According to the ER24 Spokesman Rose Campbell, search and rescue teams together with the South African Police Service (SAPS) arrived at the scene as soon as the ER24 arrived at around 12:30 pm.

“Two lifeless bodies of two men were found in the wreckage, they were declared dead on arrival as they showed no sign of life.”

The cause of the plane crash is not known yet but the authorities are investigating.
