Nigerian courts order Sowore to be detained for 45 days

The Federal High court in Abuja has granted permission to detain a publisher and politician – Omoleye Sowore for forty-five days over last weekends banned protest called “Revolution Now”

Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters new portal and a presidential candidate during 2019 Nigeria election has been ordered by the court to be detained by the Department of State Services, DSS for a period of forty-five although they had originally tried to push for ninety days.

Our sources said that there are indications that Sowore will be charged with terrorism, a charge that a legal expert, Femi Falana has insisted is baseless.
