Libya: 37 immigrants rescued off the coast of Khoms City

The Libyan Coast Guard rescued Thirty-seven illegal immigrants on Sunday, August 18th from off the coast of Khoms city.

The rescued immigrants were from seven different Arab and African Nationalities. They were later returned to the alighted point of the Coast Guard of the city of Khoms.

They have not yet been handed over to the Anti-illegal Immigration Services but have been provided with the necessary human needs and medical assistance.

The rescued operations were reported to have taken place on 53 miles north of Al-Khoma city.
