Unknown individuals have killed twelve people including a child on Thursday, August 8 after they ambushed two buses outside South Sudan’s capital, Juba.

Police Spokesman, Daniel Boula said another set of five passengers were also shot and left with bullet wounds during the attack which occurred in about 80 kilometers North-East of the Capital, between Bor and Juba town.

According to Boula, Roadside attacks is not new in the volatile East African Nation where rebel groups in recent years have led to economic ruin and various ethnic groups regularly clash mainly over natural resources which have displaced a quarter of the 12 million people living in the country.
