VIDEO: Opposition demands President’s resignation in Malawi

On Thursday, June 5, the opposition party in Malawi asked President Peter Mutharika to resign.

They accused the president of rigging the election and corruption, they also said they have evidence that the election was moped by irregularities.

Mutharika has accused the opposition of trying to overthrow his government.

police used tear gas to scare people away but that did not stop them from protesting.

At least 18 people have been arrested since protests began.
