PHOTOS: Buhari commissions $150 million ‘Africa’s biggest’ feed mill in Kaduna, to employ 8200 Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday visited Kaduna State to commission an integrated Feed Mill and Poultry in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.

According to Governor El-Rufai, the $150million investment will employ 8,000 Nigerians through direct and indirect labor and 200 veterinary doctors.
The integrated Olam facility has the capacity to produce 1.6million chicks per week.
The hatchery and feed mill is said to be the biggest in Africa.
The company consists of feed mill, hatchery and breeder farm, Olam’s Business Head, Vinod Mishra, said.
The company would process 180,000 tonnes of corn and 75,000 tonnes of soya beans annually on feeds production, and would produce 360,000 tonnes of animal feeds yearly.
