'Stop contesting the title of incompetence with Jonathan, leave him alone'' - Aisha Yesufu tells President Buhari

The co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, advocacy group, Aisha Yesufu, has launched a fresh attack on President Muhammadu Buhari asking him to stop contesting the title of incompetence with former president Goodluck Jonathan.

Yesufu was reacting to Buhari’s statement during his visit to Yobe State yesterday.

It has taken almost a month for President Buhari to visit Dapchi - the town where 110 girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram militants.

Speaking during the visit, the president claimed he handled the recent abduction of the schoolgirls ‘much better’ than Mr. Jonathan treated a similar incident in Chibok in 2014.

Reacting to this statement, Yesufu in a series of tweets wrote:

“President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari 's tour was supposed to be of empathy and condolence instead it has turned into show of incompetence.
Can someone tell PMB he was not voted to drag title of incompetence with Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan?
He should leave GEJ alone!”

“Please don't get angry. Get your PVC. Let's vote out President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari and his incompetence the way we voted out former President Jonathan and his incompetence.
They can then compare notes on incompetence at their expense not at ours,” Yesufu tweeted.
