Gambian promoted to highest enlisted pay grade in U.S. army



Gambia’s Ebrima Manneh has been promoted to sergeant major, said to be the highest enlisted pay grade in the U.S. army.

Nanama Keita, who is also in the U.S. army, posted the good news on Facebook with the caption: “This is inspiring! Our own brother, Ebrima Manneh, has made the promotion list for Sergeant Major - the highest enlisted pay grade in the U.S. army. Congratulations, SGM Manneh!”
