Finally, Osinbajo swears in two new ministers

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has sworn in two new ministers into the federal cabinet two months after being cleared by the Senate.

Stephen Ocheni and Suleiman Hassan from Kogi and Gombe states respectively were sworn in today before the commencement of the regular meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The inauguration took place inside the Council Chambers of the National Assembly.

Ocheni is replacing James Ocholi who was killed in a motor accident while Suleiman is to take the place of Hajia Amina Mohammed who resigned to take up an appointment as the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations (UN).

The acting president said their portfolios will be announced later.
