PHOTOS: Former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh farming in Equatorial Guinea

Former Gambia's President Yahya Jammeh has ventured into farming in exile in Equatorial Guinea.

Mr. Jammeh went into exile in January after 22 years in power.

It is not clear what type of farming he is set to venture into in the foreign land.

The 51-year-old had reportedly said he intends to continue farming so he can eat what he grows and grow what I eats.

Jammeh is not new in the farming business. He has a farm in his birthplace in Kanilai village, close to the Senegalese border.

According to Gambian journalist Alhagie Jobe who shared the pictures on Twitter, Mr Jammeh was spotted visiting a farm with his host, President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, as he gets ready to farm.

  3. A farmer that goes into the bush wearing white from cap to shoes, is only an investor. He is putting looted Gambian money to work.
