PHOTOS: The DSS letter that got Magu rejected as EFCC Chairman

The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday again rejected Mr Ibrahim Magu's nomination as the substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following a letter from the Department of State Services (DSS), accusing the acting EFCC boss of corruption.

The letter upheld an earlier letter that Mr. Magu failed the integrity test and was unfit for the office.

The DSS letter which was sent to the Senate on Wednesday, stressed that Magu would constitute “a liability to the anti-corruption fight of the present administration”.
