Adama Barrow sworn in as Gambia's president

The Gambia's President-elect Adama Barrow on Thursday took the oath of office at his country's embassy in neighbouring Senegal.

The ceremony was administered by Sheriff Tambadou, president of the Gambian Bar Association.

Gambia now has two men claiming to be president as Yahya Jammeh has refused to step down.

Its parliament voted earlier this week to extend Yahya Jammeh's rule by 90 days while he challenges his election defeat at the hands of Mr Barrow.

Hmmmmmmmmm..... Why is this man too desperate for power???? To neglect his own family in The Gambia and selfishly goes into exile alone leaving his family without any proper security leading to a senseless and a very much avoidable attack of a dog on his innocent son speaks volume of this man Adama Barrow. And there has been no report that Adama Barrow even went back to Gambia in the face of all his political adversities, to bravely and compassionately assess the situation of his son and to coMort his own family. So Mr. Barrow, you want to forsake your Innocent family for the sake of politics????? What sort of a man is Adama Barrow???? Smh !!!!!! And oh, well, Jahya Jammeh is going nowhere so please care about your family and bring them to join you in Senegal please. Family must always comes first, Mr. New Senegal President Barrow!!!!!
