PHOTOS: Army Chief receives Made-in-Nigeria military vehicles from Innoson company

Multi-purpose patrol vehicles for the military, Police, DSS and other para-military forces are now being made locally in Nigeria by Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited (IVM), Nnewi.

The Chairman of Innoson, Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, was today at the Tactical Headquarter of Operation Lafiya Dole, Maimalari Barracks Maiduguri, Borno State to present the latest Innoson IVM G12 designed solely for military operations, to Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen T Y Buratai

The Army Chief assured the Innoson boss that there will be many more patronages from the military especially now that the govt is looking inwards for resources and equipment to win the war against insurgency.

  4. That's very good development, hope the Nigerian government will fully support IVM by not buying any official cars from anywhere except from IVM,and also advice the CEO IVM to join hand with our NAF technician to begin manufacturing fighter jets for our arm forces, God bless Nigeria and IVM.

  5. This is why we need Biafra, we are more than capable to take care of ourselves. Nigeria can't do without Biafrans, it's no wonder they are fighting hard to deny us our freedom but we will have our sovereign state of BIAFRA, whether they like it or not. #FreeBiafra

    7. You are a fool if the only thing you see in this achievement is your loneliness. You can go and live alone in your own country, we don't care about you either.

  6. IVM is making us proud. Always been an advocate of IVM. But will ask them to give facilities so Nigerians can patronize them. This is amazing!!

  9. Nigeria is progressing. If Biafra had been, they could have advanced further what it is with Nigeria today. We need to rethink and forget politics of seggregation and selfishness. Thst is why we are saying RESTRUCTURING. That will bring healthy competition and progresd. This man is focussed and we need to encourage him. I hope bribe takers will not stall Nigeria putting this brand onto the promotion shelf. Weldone IVM!

  11. Let's appreciate the igbos, show love to them and support them. They are key to to our togetherness and growth.

    1. Agreed. Do the Igbos appreciate Nigeria? The Igbos are a part of the larger entity called Nigeria and there is no group that is less important to our progress and togetherness. The sooner we all realize this and learn to live in mutual respect for one another, there will never be the much sought after progress.

  15. My long term prayer is becoming a reality, innosson motors, its time to stop importing keke, let innosson be our only keke manufacturer and see what happens to our economy/joblessness. My further prayer is for us to keep religious and ethnic difference aside and support such a course for the sake of the Nation and not region. God bless this idea IJN.

  17. God Bless Nigeria. One.nation one.people . More ideas and innovation are coming. Buy made in Nigerian. You dont need biafria. All you need is every state should take care of theirself and survive with what they can produce. And pay tax to the federal government. That is all. Just Like the United of America . Florida take care of it self. Chicago do the same. And all the states as well.
