7-year-old boy lynched in Lagos for stealing garri (Graphic PHOTOS)
UPDATE: The mob action took place at the Alafiya bus stop in Orile area of Lagos State. The victim was alleged to be a member of notorious robbery gang in the area. Witnesses have dismissed claim that the victim was a child, but an adult in his 20's. Earlier report... A seven-year-old boy was set on fire in Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria, for allegedly attempting to steal cassava flour, locally known as garri.
The yet to be identified boy was allegedly caught while trying to steal from a shop. He was reportedly tied up and set ablaze by the angry mob. Stones were hauled at him. A stream of blood could be seen flowing from his head. The wicked crowd put tire on him and set him on fire.
This happened in a country where people who steal billions are celebrated.
